Travel and first day in Prague

Ok so...I have never blogged before so I don't really know what to do/what anyone cares reading about but whatever. Anyways, my parents and I drove to Raleigh (freakishly early cause my mom was paranoid I'd miss the flight...I was two and a half hours early. Thanks, mom). The Raleigh to NYC flight was pretty uneventful--tried reading the history book I'm supposed to have read by now (SOOOOOOOO BORING). Just listened to music instead. So then, I had a three hour layover in NYC (grabbed my first McD's in like two years...not bad). The plane over to London was fine. I sat next to this guy from the Bronx, which was fun. He works on heating and AC systems, so if you live in the Bronx, call this Mark fellow. He was going to France to bike in the mountains. That's pretty legit. Anyways, tried to sleep--not so much. Maybe like 30 minutes, cause stupid Mark just HAD to pee (and of course I was the aisle seat). So, landed in London at like 6:15, then walked briskly (ran) to my next terminal for the Prague flight! I was next to these people from maybe New Zealand or Australia, and they were nice. Just going to Prague for holiday. But, there were these obnoxious English lads on the plane. Maybe about ten of them. GAHHH!!! They were so OBNOXIOUS. They were all wearing matching shirts that read: "Chris' STAG Weekend in Prague 2K10." Instead of "0," it was a "K." Why??? Anyways, the worst was the back of the shirt. They all had names like a jersey (e.g. "sleaze bag," "hit and run," and my personal favorite "numb nuts"). Seriously? Like for realz? Seriously? OH! And there was an arrow on every shirt pointing to their tuckus. (Wait. Tuckus? Who am I? An old Jewish lady? Random.) Anyways, it read "feel free to touch." They were the epitome of classy individuals. Anyways, the flight was fine. Landed in Prague! Ahhh! Couldn't really find the person with the NYU sign, so a group of us just waited--we figured once the conglomeration was big enough it would be hard to miss. The taxi ride over was amazing. I don't know where we were (obvi) but it was so beautiful. I am so excited. I can't breathe. The apartment is suite. There's a kitchen and a bathroom and a separate toilet. My roommates are great. All from NYU. It's a triple with a single attached. Funny story. I laid down listening to my ipod since we had about three hours to dinner. OUT COLD. My roommates tried to wake me up. Nothing. So I was an antisocial Andy and missed the first group dinner. So I just ate my weight in almonds. Wow...this is a long post. DEUCES!!! PS. Hopefully, next time I'll have pictures.
